One day an employee sends a letter to his boss to increase his salary!!!

Dear Bo$$,
In thi$ life, we all need $ome thing mo$t de$perately. I think you $hould be under$tanding the need$ of u$ worker$ who have given $o much $upport including $weat and $ervice to your company.I am $ure you will gue$$ what I mean and re$pond $oon.

The next day, the employee received this letter of reply:

Dear NOrman,
I kNOw you have been working very hard. NOwadays, NOthing much has changed. You must have NOticed that our company is NOt doing NOticeably well as yet.NOw the newspapers are saying that the world`s leading ecoNOmists are NOt sure if the United States may go into aNOther recession. After the NOvember presidential elections things may turn bad.I have NOthing more to add NOw. You kNOw what I mean.

A letter to God

A man worked in a post office. His job was to process all mails that had illegible addresses. One day a letter came to his desk, addressed in shaky handwriting to God. He thought, "I better open this one and see what it's all about." So he opened it and it read: "Dear God, I am a 83 year old widow living on a very small pension. Yesterday someone stole my purse. It had a hundred dollars in it which was all the money I had until my next pension check."
"Next Sunday is Mother's Day, and I had invited my last two friends over for dinner. Without that money, I have nothing to buy food with." "I have no family to turn to, and you are my only hope. Can you please help me?" The postal worker was touched, and went around showing the letter to all the others. Each of them dug into his wallet and came up with a few dollars. By the time he made the rounds, he had collected 96 dollars, which they put into an envelope and sent over to her.
The rest of the day, all the workers felt a warm glow thinking of the nice thing they had done. Mother's Day came and went, and a few days later came another letter from the old lady to God. All the workers gathered around while the letter was opened. It read, "Dear God, How can I ever thank you enough for what you did for me?" "Because of your generosity, I was able to fix a lovely dinner for my friends. We had a very nice day, and I told my friends of your wonderful gift. " "By the way, there was 4 dollars missing. It was no doubt those thieving rascals at the post office!!!!!!

The Brooklyn Bridge

In 1883, a creative engineer named John Roebling was inspired by an idea to build a spectacular bridge connecting New York and Brooklyn. However, bridge building experts throughout the world thought that this was an impossible task and told Roebling to forget the idea. It just could not be done. It was not practical. It had never been done before.
Roebling could not ignore vision he had in his mind of this bridge. He thought about it all the time and he knew deep in his heart that it could be done. He just had to share the dream with someone else. After much discussion and persuasion he managed to convince his son Washington, an upcoming engineer, that the bridge, in fact, could be built.
Working together for the first time, the father and son developed concepts of how it could be accomplished and how the obstacles could be overcome. With great excitement and inspiration, and the headiness of a wild challenge before them, they hired their crew and began to build their dream bridge.
The project started well, but when it was only a few months underway a tragic accident on the site took the life of John Roebling. Washington was injured and left with a certain amount of brain damage, which resulted in him not being able to walk or talk or even move.
"We told them so.""Crazy men and their crazy dreams.""It`s foolish to chase wild visions."
Everyone had a negative comment to make and felt that the project should be scrapped since the Roeblings were the only ones who knew how the bridge could be built. Inspite of being a handicap,Washington was never discouraged and still had a burning desire to complete the bridge and his mind was still as sharp as ever.
He tried to inspire and pass on his enthusiasm to some of his friends, but they were too daunted by the task. As he lay on his bed in his hospital room, with the sunlight streaming through the windows, a gentle breeze blew the flimsy white curtains apart and he was able to see the sky and the tops of the trees outside for just a moment.
It seemed that there was a message for him not to give up. Suddenly an idea hit him. All he could do was move one finger and he decided to make the best use of it. By moving this, he slowly developed a code of communication with his wife,Emily Warren Roebling.
He touched his wife's arm with that finger, indicating to her that he wanted her to call the engineers again. Then he used the same method of tapping her arm to tell the engineers what to do. It seemed foolish but the project was under way again.
For 13 years Washington tapped out his instructions with his finger on his wife's arm, until the bridge was finally completed. Today the spectacular Brooklyn Bridge stands in all its glory as a tribute to the triumph of one man's indomitable spirit and his determination not to be defeated by circumstances. It is also a tribute to the engineers and their team work, and to their faith in a man who was considered mad by half the world. It stands too as a tangible monument to the love and devotion of his wife who for 13 long years patiently decoded the messages of her husband and told the engineers what to do.
Perhaps this is one of the best examples of a never-say-die attitude that overcomes a terrible physical handicap and achieves an impossible goal.

The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. Completed in 1883, it connects the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River. At 5,989 feet (1825 m), it was the longest suspension bridge in the world from its opening to 1903, the first steel-wire suspension bridge.
Originally referred to as the New York and Brooklyn Bridge, it was dubbed the Brooklyn Bridge in an 1867 letter to the editor of the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, and formally so named by the city government in 1915. Since its opening, it has become an iconic part of the New York skyline. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964 .

Even the most distant dream can be realized with determination and persistence.

'M just gettin' more and more fascinated with this VAMPIRE issue...i mean,the different covens given in the BREAKING DAWN are really interesting to note...the gifts they possess is awesome blossom...!!! honestly,super-natural stuffs are intriging me more these days...eh yes,my mom finds it weird...but then,the whole concept is appreciable,don't you think...???
By super-natural,i don't mean ghosts n spirits n "andheri raat main bhataknewali aatma"...it is the extra-ordinary world that apparently doesn't exist...a world where in immortals live...a world very similar to ours but which also includes these extra-ordinary beings...yeah,the one shown in the TWILIGHT SAGA...its just beyond imagination...deadly talented GORGEOUS vampires,few being misanthropists,living in a world full of mortals,who are completely inferior to them considereing their powers...i still wonder why they don't exist...!

What's the truth behind 2012???
Well,well,well...who's not heard of this??? some planet called Nibiro is gonna strike the Earth...Nibiro is 4 times the size of the Earth...this planet can crash into Earth anytime after May,2012...along with this tornadoes,earthquakes,volcanoes...Phew...A COMMERCIAL MOVIE EH??? Not exactly...this is what has been predicted by greatest astrologers and ciilizations that existed ages ago...AND THIS IS WHAT THEY'RE SHOWING ON THE IDIOT BOX THESE DAYS!!! (good for my mom!) Is media trying to plant fear into people's minds and hearts or is it just a futile attempt to prepare them to face the future?

The ancient idea of vampires being human parasites has been completely turned over and a new era where in vampires with higher degree of self control has been outstandingly written.The character of Edward Cullen is the one which impressed me the most. He's too good to be true!
